    EMPIRE LINE STILL AVAILABLE

    The single is available on 2 cd's and a limited edition 7-inch in the U.K. only.

    All tracks are new and previously unavailable

    Cd1 = Empire Line - I'm a Statistic - Paint It Emerald Green
    Cd2 = Empire Line (album version) - Sleep - It's a Boy Thing
    7" = Empire Line - I'm a Statistic

    'Empire Line' recounts the ups and downs of bisexual teenage model Gia Carangi,
    a notorious heroin user, who subsequently contracted AIDS and tragically died in the early eighties.
    Recently, the latest topic of conversation in the modelling world is the resurgence of drugs, particularly heroin among a clique of models who, in a macabre homage reportedly call themselves Gia's Girls in her honour.

    THE FREE INTERNET SINGLE

    IF YOU CANT LIVE WITHOUT ME THEN WHY AREN'T YOU DEAD YET
    B/W The History Of The World On Ice

    Released 23 August.

    My Life Story have released a free Internet single.
    The two track single will be available for three months to anyone with a PC and Internet access. This single will be marketed and promoted like any conventional release by the band's label It Records. This venture is also unique in that the track utilises new Microsoft technology.

    FAST FACTS

    * To access the free single log on to this site.

    * The 2 tracks are available to download from Monday 23 August at 10am.

    * Full artwork is captured within the single and is shown as the tracks are played with photo's and band information.

    * This single can be downloaded into your computer at twice the speed of all previous sound files (MPEGS).

    * The tracks will be available for 3 months only.

    * You can E-mail the tracks to your friends.

    TECHNICAL CORNER

    To play the single the end users will need to download the new Microsoft Media Player 6.2 Beta version. There is a link from the band's pages to Microsoft's pages where there will be a full explanation of how to download and install the
    tracks. This version of Windows Media Player works on Windows 95, Windows 98,
    and Windows NT 4.0.

    Once they download the player they should return to the MLS web site.
    The end user will be able to download it directly to their hard drive. However they will need to register to play the track on their PC. This can be done by clicking the icon for the track which will launch the web browser to a page on the Internet where they will be asked to register their contact details. Once registered that site will give their PC a passport or license to play the track. This is a media right management programme that protects the artist from illegal distribution of the track over the web. If the end user wants to E-mail it to a friend they will be able to do so but the recipient will have to go through the same registration process.

    MLS CUP WIN - PHOTOS

    Jake and Paul recieved winners medals at the soccer six tournament at Chelsea's Stanford bridge ground on Saturday 29th May.

    In front of over 6000 people, the boys (who were part of the Fat Les team that included Leroy from the Prodigy and Kieth Allen) won a nail biting final 3-2 over Robbie Williams' team.

    Our heroes didn't loose a single game leading up to the final with victories over Ultra, Ant and Dec (Peter Beardsley was on their team) Space and a particularly satisfying romp over Blur who knocked MLS out of the tornament two years ago at Craven Cottage.

    Paul and Jake's best game however was against Bush where Paul hit the bar twice and Jake won a crucial penalty. Apart from that they spent most of the time eating orange slices dipped in vodka.

    Thanks to all the fans that turned up in support, all proceeds went to Help A London Child. For all the gossip, photos and results
